ChatGPT integration with iPhone before October?

In the iPhone 16 IOS 18.1 beta Apple has integrated Chat GPT in Apple Intelligence. This can already be used. Why hasn't a decision been made here yet?

i hope people actually research instead of assuming the future will be the same as the past. The major AI features will not be coming any time soon. October maybe. For the last 10 years apple's released the new version of iOS between 9/13-20. This year is the biggest hype cycle around AI accross the board and they have NO LIVE FEATURES on iOS. They're behind, so to catch up they'll add AI to this version of iOS. They already annouced this partnership with OpenAI at WWDC this summer and the partnership is mentioned in public press releases from Apple and OpenAI (google them and they pop up). Yes here seems like a no brainer especially at these odds

based on Apple’s release date history, the most likely release dates for iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 are September 16 and 18. The first full release of iOS 18 will most likely be the earliest opportunity to try out ChatGPT in Apple Intelligence, although iPadOS 18 could also launch with it on the same day and macOS 15 could follow shortly after.

really need them to clarify if this means a public, main channel release or a beta channel release because it'll definatly hit the beta channel before September ends, but no way it hits the public channel before November.

Latest beta out now includes Apple Intelligence. Unclear if the beta allows for ChatGPT use yet, but once the beta does, one would have to assume it would count as even non-developers can access the beta via a simple toggle in settings. Public release seems to be postponed until October but GPT integration in beta seems inevitable before that. [link removed]
