On January 25, Donald Trump said he had been speaking to Egypt and Jordan about taking Palestinian refugees. You can read more about that here: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/01/26/world/middleeast/trump-gaza-jordan-egypt.html This market will resolve to “Yes” if Egypt or Jordan announces their intention to accept or otherwise accept at least 100,000 Gazan refugees between them, either temporarily or long-term, between January 29 and March 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Note: This market's resolution is based on the sum total of Gazan refugees accepted by both Egypt and Jordan. If Egypt or Jordan announce they will accept or otherwise accept an undisclosed number of Gazan refugees, this market will remain open until the resolution date or further announcements are made clarifying the number of refugees to be accepted, or the number is otherwise confirmed by a consensus of credible reporting. the primary resolution source for this market will be official announcements from the governments of Egypt and Jordan, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
They already said yes lol

Top Arab Diplomat Sees No Alternative to Trump's Gaza Plan[link removed]
UAE Ambassador to the U.S. Yousef Al Otaiba supports Trump’s plan to relocate Gaza’s population, calling it “difficult but inevitable” despite international backlash. “I don’t see an alternative to what’s being proposed,” he stated.

Okay, it's actually starting to happen. Your government has already agreed to receive 2000 and is trying to pass it on to the President of Egypt... you can see the fear in his eyes and it is already closed. Trump has not yet opened his mouth and the king is already ready to receive "sick refugees". With the Egyptians it will be even easier even though they are stronger, they are about one hundred million inhabitants and they also have the Sinai desert. I am already distributing to friends to buy because it looks like money on the floor.

Who is more likely to take them, Egypt or Jordan?
It was framed as thousands of "sick kids," but that's just to make it palatable to the Jordanian people and the other arab states. The reality is that if those kids have parents or siblings, they get to come too. The real number already agreed to is far above the few thousand sick kids coming in "for treatment."
BREAKING 🔴 Jordan agrees to take in 2,000 Palestinian children in need of medical care immediately following a meeting with Trump.

Jordan accepting refugees from war-torn Gaza would be viewed as 'betrayal of the Palestinian cause'
Trump issues warning: “If Egypt and Jordan refuse to accept Palestinians into their territory, I will consider canceling their aid.”
lol, interesting analysis
BREAKING 🔴 Trump says there will be NO right of return for Palestinians under his Gaza takeover plan. @NewsWire_US
yes people are delusional [link removed]
Anyone that actually believes this plan would happen clearly doesn't know their history. This is a national security threat to Jordan and Egypt.
Why not bet then?
waiting for the idiots to bring it up to 50/50 then I will hammer no.
From your response it is clear that you do not know the demographics of Jordan and Egypt nor the geopolitics of the region. In Jordan 80%! They are Palestinians ruled by a dictatorship by a minority of less than 20% - similar to the situation in Syria in the past. Israel holds power in Jordan by supplying water, intelligence and defense. If it weren't for the Israelis and the Americans - a long time ago they would have staged a coup there like they did in Syria. Regarding Egypt - it is a huge country with more than a hundred million inhabitants. Maybe you don't know but the Harit countries have been holding them for many years and they have much bigger problems with water, a fight with Ethiopia over the Nile River, and more... - There are many "Muslim brothers" there who are also oppressed by the government but there is no problem settling the evacuees in Sinai, or anywhere else. None of them can say no to Trump and besides - you can't live in Gaza, and you shouldn't. This is the price for what they did and it is final. There is no point in arguing. If you are so sure that it will not happen - put money on it (maybe you will earn)
I don’t think that whether Jordan nor Egypt could circumvent this. Only the world community, the Saudis, the other 5 eyes states, and Europe could prevent this outcome
first of all, it's not 80%. I know the region very well given I'm from there. More Palestinians flooding Jordan is a national security threat. The king would be overthrown fast and then a war with Israel. Second, how in the world do you just force 1.7 million people out? It's quite literally impossible. Trump is truly a deranged person and is a slave for Israel.
This is going to be the fastest and easiest 5X.
never gonna happen buddy
