This market will resolve to “Yes” if ESPN becomes available on DirecTV again between September 3, 2024, 11:00 AM ET, and the beginning of the US Open Men's final (presently scheduled for September 8, 2024 ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If an agreement is announced that ESPN will be available again on DirecTV before the US Open final, it will qualify for a "Yes" resolution only if ESPN is broadly back for most DirecTV customers before the US Open - if the agreement goes into effect after the beginning of the US open, this market will resolve to "No." The beginning of the final is defined as when the serve is made during the first point. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from The Walt Disney Company, DirecTV, LLC, and/or their subsidiaries, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

2 days left and people think there's a 30% chance they have a deal before Sunday... okay lol
Feel like the odds here don't make any sense, last year with Charter, they reached a deal right before Monday night football (which was after the US open final)
I'd bet it goes down to the wire again this year, and I highly doubt DirectTv is worried about losing USOpen viewers, they're worried that Football fans will cord cut
There'll be an American in the final though this year.
