This market will resolve to "Yes" if Iran publicly agrees to end all enrichment of uranium by July 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An official pledge by Iran to end all enrichment of Uranium will qualify for a “Yes” resolution whether as a unilateral announcement or part of an agreement with the U.S. or Israel. Any agreement or pledge made before the resolution date of this market will qualify, regardless of if/when the agreement goes into effect. An agreement by Iran to end all enrichment of uranium for any amount of time will count. An agreement by Iran to end all enrichment of uranium as a precondition of a more comprehensive peace process or deal will qualify, even if the agreement is not finalized or part of a formalized peace deal. Agreements to merely limit or cap the level or quality of enrichment—such as reducing enrichment to below weapons-grade thresholds—will not qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.
What recent developments suggest Iran might actually agree to stop enrichment before August
I dont think they're that naiv anymore
next step: iran is coming to negotiate
Nope. You gonna lose all your money
"The Iranian regime should wake up and say, 'Okay, if we really want nuclear energy in our country, there's a way to do it.' That offer is still there. We're prepared to talk to them tomorrow and start working on that," Rubio said on Fox News. [link removed]
Chris Hansen: “Iran… come on, sit here. Sit right here.”
Iran saying they Building new secret facilities. Imagine buying YES lmao
can iran enrich my account, any iranian tippers ? 😭
you know this can go the other way around, they don’t want to stop and they plan to pick up the pace but say that it will stop enrichment, specially that now they will negotiate with usa
Nah I‘d win - Iran, probably
This really is free money. Probably the safest NO bet you can buy with these prices
I’ve got the lowdown, and I’m chasing the paycheck, if you catch what I’m laying down.
I’m privy to some information, and it’s the money that really matters to me, got it?
Iran will at most say they will limit the amount to peaceful purposes, which does not qualify according to the rules. Unless the government changes there is no way they would agree FULLY stopping the enrichment.
Someone put up a big yes buy order Ill buy it
"Reuters says that Trump gave Iran an ultimatum that within 24-48 hours if Iran does not abandon uranium enrichment and missile production, the United States could decide to launch military action against Iran."
hahahaha, could That's the key word, Iran is going to provoke more by increasing its enrichment and then it will reduce it but it is impossible for it to end everything, in fact it has never happened in all of history, furthermore it has to say literally that they have ended the enrichment and they never do it because it is a great humiliation for them, for their sovereignty, so in the hypothetical case they would say we have stopped certain activities but not which ones.
american people don't want to go die for warmonger neocon Trump
but now I really don't understand, I've put everything I have here in the no option, which for me should be at a minimum of 90%, I don't understand how there are people who buy it, 40 that yes, anyway, I think they haven't read the rules and if they think they've won in the case that they reduce the enrichment, and I simply believe that they are playing with people and there is some whale that is interested in the YES option going up and keeps making it go up, this is bullshit, polymarket is full of whales that manipulate the markets
It's because the rules can be interpreted as following: Iran regime falls, provisional regime comes over, agrees to end enrichment of uranium
It is unfeasible because: Giving up the program would mean leaving itself unprotected against potential attacks from Israel or any other regional power and would lose its main deterrent. Internally, the government would face a collapse of legitimacy. The opposition and hardliners would accuse it of betraying national sovereignty, sparking protests and a political crisis. Economically, without the atomic lever to negotiate, Iran would lose leverage in any sanctions relief agreement, worsening its isolation and recession. Furthermore, creating such an extreme precedent would open the door for other powers to demand similar conditions, undermining the very principle of nonproliferation.
And who will impose it? The UN would not push for a total dismantlement. There is no consensus among its members. Russia and China would veto any overly harsh resolution, and the majority of the General Assembly prefers to keep Iran within the framework of negotiations, not expel it entirely. Israel would not officially call for an absolute end. It uses the Iranian nuclear threat as justification for its own military and diplomatic stance, so it needs the program to exist at least as a pretext. A total vacuum would undermine its legitimacy on the international stage. Nor would the United States. It prefers to retain Iran as a lever of regional pressure: sanctions, diplomatic isolation, peace agreements with Arab countries. It also keeps open the option of partial or renewed negotiations in the future. Dismantling everything would eliminate that yardstick.
ran has invested decades and billions in developing local know-how and a supply chain; ending the entire program would mean admitting defeat in the face of sanctions and external pressure.
How about now?
I'M GOING TO PUT EVERYTHING HERE BEFORE THIS GOES UP TO 85 WHICH IS ITS REAL VALUE RIGHT NOW
It's one thing to reduce it, which is likely, but to end it completely is almost impossible. It's not worth saying, we're going to stop certain activities (if we're under a lot of pressure), without mentioning it as such. What they usually do is provoke by raising it at the beginning, then give in and end up reducing it, but never completely ending it. LOL
FREE MONEY, IRAN HAS NEVER AGREE TO END ENRICHMENT OF URANIUM, THAT WOULD BE AN OFFENSE AND HUMILIATION TO THEM, TO THEIR SOVEREIGNTY, I THINK THE MARKET HAS NOT READ THE RULES, HAHAHAHAHA, I LOVE EARNING MONEY SO EASILY
