On July 4, 2025, @real_lord_miles announced he would be "water fasting for 40 DAYS AND NIGHTS in one of the hottest Deserts in the world in isolation" (see: https://x.com/real_lord_miles/status/1941056296137949678). This market will resolve to "Yes" if Lord Miles completes a continuous 40-day water-only fast in a desert by September 30, 2025 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The fast must be publicly documented through livestreams, video, or credible reporting. If Miles consumes any food or calories other than water and electrolytes during the 40 days, or if he otherwise abandons the fast, this market will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting and/or direct video evidence.

A goat rope is one which goes undetected. This rope was so incredibly amateur that it imo ruined whatever credibility miles had and made polymarket look like a run of the mill scam opperation.
The biggest known fraud market in polymarket history perpitrated by Miles is over and polymarket did NOTHING to protect the customer. Report this company to to the goverment branch in your country that deals with Willful ignorance, FRAUD and INSIDER TRADING. If you lost enough, also consider filing a suit against polymarket and Miles. These would be two seperate lawsuits. Miles can be sued for FRAUD, Market Manipulation, Insider trading, and more! I can't believe you lot in the comments are still chimping out about this lol - I got outplayed by a true carny and I'm fine with that. I wasn't betting on whether he'd lose or win, rather just on what stunt he was going to pull. That's why I went all-in when he "failed" because I thought he was going to produce proof last-minute, Phileas Fogg style. I was wrong, whatever, move on.

But still - this bet was at best shaddy - at worst a clear scam. I personnally lost trust in polymarkets neutrality - what tells me that they wont change conditions again on future bets.
When polymarket was alerted to the issue they did nothing but work to sweep it under the rug. This was a loss for everyone involved, even the winners. Polymarket changes the conditions to keep the market running, and when presented with evidence of fraud they also kept the market open nearly two weeks longer. Polymarket is not a site anyone should use.
It's possible that was his plan but he actually did get arrested. This then prevented him from switching from No to Yes, and also from cashing out.

Yeah I already reported them to the FTC and SEC and I will be moving forward with arbitration shortly since they are stonewalling me when I bring this up to them via regular channels. They are 100% liable for this scam that they directly promoted, and promoted a lot btw.
