June 30, 2026$284K Vol.This market will resolve to "Yes" if Spain's Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, is removed from power for any length of time between December 2, 2025 and the listed date, ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez will be considered removed from power if he announces his resignation, is dismissed, detained, disqualified, or otherwise loses his position or is prevented from fulfilling his duties as Prime Minister of Spain within this market's timeframe. The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.

The resolution criteria are unclear. First, Pedro Sánchez is the president, not the prime minister. Secondly, if he calls for elections he automatically becomes 'acting president'. Does this qualify as being "out"?
He will remain president until someone else takes over, so the resolution would be No.
In english-speaking countries, Spain's "president" is the king (head of state) and Sánchez is the Prime Minister (head of the parliament). Spanish constitution mandates a PM to always be in charge. An acting PM is still a PM. There is never a power gap. Sanchez will be the PM until a new one is named. This can be done either via a moción de censura, cuestión de confianza, new elections, resignation (jajajajaja) or death. The constitution does not foresee any other case in which a PM ceases to be a PM.
He is "Presidente del Gobierno" not "Presidente". The head of state is king Felipe
This question is wrong. Pedro Sanchez is not and has never been prime minister, since that position doesn't exist in Spain. It should say President.
I wanted to mention that except in the case of the last "vote of no confidence", after elections it takes around a month to stop being the Prime Minister.
That doesn't matter; the rules specify that what matters is the announcement, not the date on which the hypothetical termination takes effect.
I disagree. Yes an announcement of resignation/removal can resolve the market to YES, but the removal itself still has to fall within the market's timeframe, otherwise there's no removal to announce. I argue that an election result where Sánchez loses is not such an announcement. Under Article 101 of the Spanish Constitution, he doesn't stop being PM after an election, he stays on as caretaker (en funciones) until a successor is invested, which takes time (article 101 says "The outgoing Government shall continue in power until the new Government takes office". Extra highlight on the "shall continue in power"). If he stays as PM "en funciones" until January 1, then he never ceased to be PM of Spain in 2026. If the market resolves incorrectly it will have to be disputed.
the dictator of spain is not going to go himself!
HAHAHAHAHHA Today we woke up with Zapatero (who been used for PSOE latest weeks) accused for three crimes. The leaders of that mafia are falling. There is NO WAY that government keep being ahead of Spain
People everywhere is screaming on ellections. He is loosing every each region. People wants PSOE out of any kind of power positon. Pedro calling himself a democratic person, then call snap ellections and let the people speak on ellections as a democrazy!!
People have been calling for elections for years, and the disastrous regional results are no surprise. Elections are coming soon, in 2027. As time goes on, the less sense it makes to try to achieve a vote of no confidence (something that would be almost impossible, because the parties that would have to initiate it are unwilling to take such action)
The people who buy YES don't know Pedro
get this Islamist out. Spanish people should really consider getting him out this time or else Spain will turn to France, Germany or the United Kingdom.
After latest news and latest videos leaked from the very beggining of Sanchez he cannot keep being ahead of Spain is absolutely a shame I cant really understand how is possible he is the president

I would bet he will snap ellections in the next weeks taking advantage of his "No to war" But this will not be enough to cover all the corruption around him. Next weeks will start a judge of one main ex minister and also judge to his wife. He is politically dead
tu no eres español no?
perro sanchez me cago en to tus muertos hijoputa
