Yes$168K Vol.This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Save Act (H.R.22) is passed by both chambers of the U.S. Congress and signed into law by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution sources for this market will be Congress.gov’s legislation tracker (https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/22) and other official information from the government of the United States; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Someone explain a realistic path for the to pass and be signed
Trust me it will pass, Nothing beats a insider.
Will save some of ya'lll some money. Save ACT (this market) is entirely different than the SAVE AMERICA Act being vocalized by Trump etc in social media. This market will resolve to NO regardless if SAVE America Act is passed.
@grok is this true?
false. It is exactly the same. Buy Yes. or buy no, and fill my bags.
my shares been sold before my comment, polymarket just didnt update
you guys see the truth social? trump is really pushing for this...
damn and everyone listens to truth social
BET AGAINST ME PLZ
how much do you want? I can sell you a bunch at 20c yes if you'd like. 50k shares?
Unbelievable that 80% of the country wants this yet Democrats are the only one's in the way. Tells you a lot about their schemes.
Those polls are for ID to vote. The save act requires proof of citizenship to register, which is much more onerous and unpopular. Most forms of ID won’t count. Maybe know what’s in the law first
Excuse my ignorance, I'm not from the US. How is it a bigger hassle to provide ID at registration rather than the vote itself?
@tangovicios Per the bill, just a photo ID like most driver's licenses or even most realID's are not sufficient proof of citizenship- you'd need something like a birth certificate, a U.S. passport, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, a Certificate of Citizenship, or a Naturalization Certificate. Some people don't have access to their birth certificates, over half of voters don't have a passport, and married women whose documents are in their maiden name have even more bureaucratic hurdles to clear. Some states have voter ID laws already, which require just showing an acceptable form of ID when voting.
Separately, the SAVE America Act (replacement for SAVE act) also makes it a crime for officials to register an applicant with incorrect or missing proof of citizenship, EVEN IF that applicant IS a U.S. citizen.
