This market will resolve to “Yes” if it is discovered that the April 28, 2025 power outage affecting Spain and Portugal was caused by a hack by May 5, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise this market will resolve to “No”. "A hack" encompasses intentional, malicious activity which caused the power outage. The primary resolution source for this market will be official statements from the governments of Spain or Portugal, or from relevant national grid operators (e.g., Red Eléctrica de España, E-Redes). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
its kind of sad that this already resolves today, because I do think that we’ll learn that it indeed was a cyber attack, all of the signs are clear. Its just all taking (like always) way too much time.
Maybe they will make another market.
