This market will resolve to “Yes” if, according to the ISW map, Ukraine captures the listed intersections in Vilne and Kucheriv Yar by August 22, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET. The intersections will be considered captured if any part of the intersections is shaded blue indicating a Claimed Ukrainian Counter Offensive/Reported Ukrainian Territorial Gains in the Past 24 Hours on the ISW map (https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/36a7f6a6f5a9448496de641cf64bd375) by the resolution date. If the area is not shaded blue by August 22, 2025, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to “No”. If Ukraine comes into control of this territory as a result of a negotiated settlement, this will qualify for a 'Yes' resolution, regardless of whether it is shaded blue in the ISW map. An announcement of a negotiated settlement which gives Ukraine de jure control will not qualify. Actual control must be established. Once Ukraine captures the intersections, any subsequent loss of control will not be considered towards the resolution of this market. I think liveuamap never bothered to mark them Russian to begin with, so this is a little bit misguided
I think they had them marked as Russian yesterday.
According to their history they didn't, maybe they mistakenly had correct info on there for a few hours before realizing and that's why it doesn't show up in the history

The rules are very badly written on this one. I can only assume that if both the intersections are taken back by the russians during the time frame of 24h before the date, these would not count, but any back and forth before these 24h doesn't count?
yeah they both have to be under ukrainian control (shaded blue) on August 22nd at midnight or it won't count...so basically yes holders are hoping ISW updates it on time on Aug 21st and that it won't change after

If you read more exactly "once Ukraine captures the INTERSECTIONS, any subsequent loss of control will not be considered", generally speaking from other bets that follow the same rules it only applies once both are actually captured
But that interpretation would be in contradiction to the first statement which only takes in consideration the state of the map on the resolution date: "The intersections will be considered captured if any part of the intersections is shaded blue indicating a Claimed Ukrainian Counter Offensive/Reported Ukrainian Territorial Gains in the Past 24 Hours on the ISW map by the resolution date. If the area is not shaded blue by August 22, 2025, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to “No”." So in order for both statements to apply, the map should either state on the 22nd that the intersactions are shaded blue, or the "assessed russian gains in the past 24 H". Again, this ruleset is simply badly written, because it allows too many interpretations
