A public announcement of the intention to sell TikTok will qualify even if a sale has not been finalized. This includes any formal declaration made by ByteDance or its authorized representatives regarding their plans to sell or transfer ownership of TikTok. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from ByteDance. However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

(1) If a deal would include exporting the proprietary algorithm, the valuation would require a minimum of $200,000,000,000, likely much more; (2) If it does not include the algorithm, TikTok isn't worthwhile at all; and (3) there is no way in hell the CCP will agree to sell their algorithm, which is key to the whole operation and used for nefarious purposes such as heating (boosting) trends harmful to the west such as reading Osama Bin Laden's fatwa, etc.
