Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” A meeting is defined as any encounter where Trump and Putin are both present and interact with each other in person. An exchange of words, handshake, direct conversation, or other clear personal interaction between the named individuals will qualify as a meeting. Merely standing in proximity, making eye contact, or being present in the same room or event without direct interaction will not qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.

Trump is a professional manipulator. He will even make statements that are completely contradictory. We know him well.
If the meeting does take place, it will take place in Budapest. The Hungarians have definitely begun preparing for it, and Putin has agreed to attend. Such a discrepancy with the adjacent market is nonsense.

This was to be expected, and I discussed it below. The Russians do not want to end the war, and Trump does not need another failed and embarrassing meeting with Putin just to chat. So why meet and what to discuss?
And, of course, the fact that Trump, as a “great negotiator” in his most obtuse manner, surrendered the only trump card that could at least theoretically intimidate Putin - he publicly refused to supply Tomogavks.
