This market will resolve to "Yes" if the United Kingdom enters a state of civil war by December 31, 2024, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting confirming the UK is in a civil war. Note: Media reports that use the phrase "civil war" metaphorically will not count. Only a consensus of reporting that the UK has entered a literal civil war will qualify.
A coup may be possible, but it cannot be a civil war

England ! It's time to stand against a government that's lost its way and a woke agenda that's silencing us ! This is OUR , fight , a declaration of war for our values , our voices , our.... FREEDOM ! Let's reclaim what's ours !
Absurd. There is a 0.0000001% chance of this.
no guns civilians...no civil war....
Some people seriously need to spend less time on twitter... NO would be free money, if Inflation wasn't that high atm
How do you define a civil war tho? Just because shooting and violence were to break out doesn't mean it's a civil war. Like at what point is it not just widespread unrest or insurgency?
In 2014 Ukraine you had people and police shooting at each other, the military on the streets, the president violently removed, and several regions seceding from the country. This was not called a civil war by western media. So even if all of this happened in the UK today, this market would still resolve to "No".
nothing ever happens™
I'd argue there is a civil war right now. I'm also very credible
Can we get less of these? Like the super absurd ones are just kind of annoying bloat imo
Do Aliens Invade in 2024?!
This requires consensus on a literal declaration of civil war in order to resolve as "Yes". Not gonna happen
I do not think the United Kingdom will enter a state of civil war in the next five months.

if this got 33m views than there is a civil war coming!
Interesting market but the resolution is extremely vague
These rules are far too precise and could be written more vaguely.
Yeah, I'm not touching this. I learned my lesson with such markets.
