Colombia's presidential elections are scheduled for May 31, 2026, and a second round (if required) on June 21, 2026, in case no candidate secures more than 50% of the valid votes in the first round. This market will resolve to "Yes" if any candidate wins this election in the first round. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the result of the first round of this election isn't known by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "No". This market will resolve based on the election results, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by Colombia's National Civil Registry (Registraduría Nacional del Estado Civil) (https://registraduria.gov.co).

I'm Colombian and live in my country. I can tell that Abelardo has a 50% to win first election base on this facts: 1. Full rallies thousands of people following him. 2. In recent weeks polls has raised a lot of % leaving gaps between 1 and 2 with Cepeda (these polls as you know has bias to the left as always like in Trump election it's happening the same). 3. In many of the cities and suburban small towns, people welcome him as many people by thousands. 4. When Alvaro Uribe took power 20 years ago, it was the same phenomena, and he won't in a single shot, this is the same pattern for Abelardo de la Espriella, I can say even more. 5. When you go to market you hear all the people talking of Abelardo. 6. When he speaks to huge crowds he connects to people. 7. When Cepeda speaks to crowds he doesn't connect but just to read long speeches, in that way not getting good results when it comes to huge crowds as Abelardo has it. 8. In many regions in Colombia Cepeda it's not even welcome, most of peole welcome him, throwing stones and many other things. Well, these were my thoughts, I can say it can be a possibility of the 50% to win in the first round.
