If Austria has officially joined NATO as a full member state at any point by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET this market will resolve to “Yes”. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." The primary settlement source for this market will be the official NATO website (https://www.nato.int/cps/en/natohq/nato_countries.htm), however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Austria has a long-standing constitutional policy of perpetual neutrality and its government has recently reaffirmed its commitment to this position. Public opinion also remains strongly in favor of maintaining neutrality.
idk why this is getting a sudden pump but this is 100% impossible. (1) Austria has been constitutionally neutral since ww2 and people are very proud of that, even opposing the delivery of weapons. (2) 4/5 parties in the parliament oppose joining NATO. (3) even if suddenly the parties and the people change their minds the whole process would require a referendum so we are talking about 6-9 months minimum.
