This market will resolve to "Yes" if either the Republican or Democratic presidential candidate formally concedes the 2024 US presidential election election by November 30, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". A concession is defined as an unambiguous public statement which acknowledges that the candidate lost the 2024 US presidential election, will not be the next President, or which acknowledges the victory of an opponent. If a candidate makes these acknowledgements while also claiming that the election was rigged, or that there was fraud, this will still qualify as a concession. Only public statements from the conceding candidate will qualify. Reports of private conversations, e.g. if the candidate called the victor and conceded over the phone, will not count.
can someone propose and resolve this please?
seems link broken can't propose
Prretty muh cheap bets on kamala but will trump for real contest again?? No shot right ??
this market is a sad reflection on American democracy
is it? we were born out of anti govt riots...
This ones tricky if your confident in trump winning then go ahead and buy yes since Kamala would definitely concede
I love how little you guys believe in US democracy. I guess we'll see whether you are right in a couple of days. ^^
you are underestimating Trump's inability to take an L. Short memory too, last time he did not concede
he still thinks he won 2020
Yes, but the odds make no sense. If Trump wins, kamala concedes ~100%. If Kamala wins, according to the odds (assuming 50-50 election probabilities) there is a 66% chance he won't admit defeat. That sounds very off to me.
The election is 50-50. If Trump wins, 100% Kamala concedes. If Kamala wins, almost certainTrump does NOT concede. So I think yes should be 55 and no 45
Free money to vote yes, they just have to acknowledge that they lost the election. If Kamala looses shes conceding 100% and if Trump loses and says he lost but the election was rigged it still counts as conceding. Yes wins either way
Can you really see him saying he lost before screaming about it being rigged? I can't.
If a candidate makes these acknowledgements while also claiming that the election was rigged, or that there was fraud, this will still qualify as a concession.
right i just can't imagine him making what you euphemistically refer to as "acknowledgements". Admitting defeat is not part of his vocabulary.
yeah i get that
So, essentially, if Harris wins, if Trump DOESN'T admit defeat in November, no shares win? This is just another "who will win" market.
Cheap Kamala shares, I guess. Thanks!
Are you 100% sure he won't admit defeat in any way? He can admit defeat and still say that the election was rigged.
I feel like the only way that would work is if he says something like "we lost but it was rigged," which doesn't seem super likely to me. The first inclination that he lost the 2020 election was nearly four years later (two months ago). He's also already accusing masses of people of voter fraud, so I have to assume he'll be even worse about it this times around.
It's going to be a long November as he'll be stuck in first gear of the five stages of grief.
the pic lol
There's no way Trump concedes losing, or Harris protests losing, so it's literally elections forecast here.
". If a candidate makes these acknowledgements while also claiming that the election was rigged, or that there was fraud, this will still qualify as a concession."
Concede? Are they playing football?
Love the Hillary pic
