On January 16, Elon Musk posted that buying Ryanair might be a "good idea." You can read more about that here: https://x.com/elonmusk/status/2012172825444913299 This market will resolve to “Yes” if credible reporting confirms that Elon Musk, either personally or through an entity led or majority owned by him, enters into an agreement to buy Ryanair by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announced agreement between Elon Musk and Ryanair will qualify for a “Yes” resolution, regardless of whether the acquisition is ultimately completed. An agreement to merge with a qualifying entity will count toward "Yes" resolution. The primary resolution source for this market is official information from Elon Musk and Ryanair, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

We don't know how much money Elon Musk has in his accounts or whether it's worth it for him, but in any case, before buying any company or corporation, there must be a thorough analysis of financial statements and a complete audit. Based on that, Elon and his team should decide whether it is profitable for them.
Elon can easily aquire EU citizenship or can simply ask TRUMP to force EU to remove such bullshit law or face 1000% tariff lol. So technically Elon can buy it if he really wants to

This feels like a free money glitch, because technically Elon Musk can't buy Ryanir because he isn't from the EU. Pretty sure to buy an airline you have to be from the EU. We have similiar laws here in the USA. Regulation (EC) No 1008/2008

As per law US corporation can take over EU corporation. So Elon’s one of the corp can buy any company in Europe.

Yea, but he can't become majority owner if he isn't from the EU. I'm not entirely sure how he would get around the law.
