This market will resolve to "Yes" if John Mulaney fights one or more individuals below the age of 18 by May 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." Choreographed stunts, competitive games (e.g., dodgeball, trivia, or card games), slapstick humor, stunts or comedic sketches will not qualify. Performances which are possibly staged but include elements of real physical fighting such as punching or wrestling will qualify, as long as they are not obviously slapstick/stunts. The primary resolution source will be video evidence, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Okay I have yet to watch this but if he doesn’t MIke Tyson at least one of the kids ears it wasn’t a fight
This wasn't a fight, it was three teenagers taking a guy by the leg in a funny way: “stunts or comedic sketches will not qualify”, solving this as yes is very unfair
Lol

cry me a river. stop gambling. whoever voted no didn't do any research lol.
Proposing a resolution on very small market should be illigal.
Don't mind him he's awful. Very expensive lesson about variance. Sucks brother. Take care. 💟
Ggs, I should have bought more when it was cheap
This is pretty much what I expected. If I was looking forward to an actual fight, I’d be pretty disappointed
The referee specifically said "No fighting, No pinching, No gauging of anykind"... This is not a fight
Dispute
I don't have funds rn :(
If Polymarket didn’t want wrestling to count they wouldn’t have put it in the rules🤷
If Polymarket wanted Mulaney doing nothing to count as him fighting they would have put It in the rules
Pretty slapstick and essentially a comedic sketch - also just rewatched it and *he doesn't fight at all* it's basically 3 kids pulling him to the ground - so no, he didn't fight
Slapstick / comedic stunt to show how he can’t handle three kids. He didn’t actually… you know, wrestle / try to defeat the kids
It is more of stunt without any punching.
Rules specify wrestling counts
yea, if he had - he just stood there and allowed himself to be taken down
Wow they let them actually fight, that's actually kind of shocking. GG
They're wrestling gg
Wednesday at 7 pm PT / 10pm ET LIVE on Netflix.
!
Even if it's funny to watch, it will still count for this market.
As long as they are not obvious stunts
Good luck, Blur! And may the best woman win.
Wishing you the best. May fortune smile upon the less fortunate, such as me.
This is fun 😁
Never trade more than 10% on one market unless you're extremely sure about it. Sucks man, expensive lesson
You were doing pretty good but with your betting style, variance will always kill you at some point. [link removed].org/wiki/Risk_of_ruin
Thanks. But let's hold of on party after the results.
Is he really 'bout to do it?
this feels like one of those markets where a controversy is going to happen because the rules arent clear. im going to wait until big whales put money on this
I'd want it to happen, but I think it's unlikely
What’s the argument for why there isn’t going to be some sort of fight/grapple? There’s no bit of there’s no fighting.
*if there’s no fighting
is your question why we don't think he's going to break child welfare laws and commit assault for a comedy sketch?
lol yes
It's obviously going to be fake, the only question is does it meet the bar for "elements of real physical fighting" or is it clearly going to be slapstick or a stunt
My best guess based on how the show generally goes is that he's going to present himself getting beat up by the teenagers with some fake punches, maybe slow motion added. Then he does some sort of cutaway where he narrates over clips of himself getting "beat up" by teenagers talking about his regrets or something like that. That would very likely qualify as a comedic sketch and not "real physical fighting"
I like children generally but
Haven't actually watched this show yet. Is it any good?
Blablabla
