This market will resolve to "Yes" if Mitt Romney announces that he will vote for Kamala Harris or endorses Harris for President of the United States by November 4, 2024, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise this market will resolve to "No". If Mitt Romney announces that he will vote for another candidate or endorses another candidate for President of the United States this market will immediately resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from Mitt Romney or one of his representatives, or a consensus of credible reporting of Romney's endorsement.
This market is completely and totally over. I don't even understand the people on the yes side. Romney has said, in no uncertain terms, that he absolutely will not endorse Kamala Harris. He has explained why he will do that. Why would anyone, anyone at all, think that Trump is going to do something between now and election day that would change that!?! [link removed]
He has, very carefully, not spoken her name when describing how he will vote. There is no way that can be interpreted as an "announcement" that he is voting for her. What we think about what he will do in the voting booth is not what this market is about.
[The Atlantic; 9/24/24] There was, of course, one other possibility for Romney’s final act: a position in the next Biden administration. The two men have become unlikely friends in recent years. And according to one person close to the Biden campaign, senior Democrats in the president’s orbit had discussed appointing Romney to a high-profile diplomatic post in a second term, before Biden dropped out of the race. The conversations were hypothetical—ambassadorships aren’t typically doled out six months before an election—but such an offer would presumably be conditioned on an endorsement. And Romney wasn’t sure he could oblige. “Biden’s policies drive me crazy,” he told me. “And one of the reasons I think there are people like me who shrink at the idea of endorsing Biden is, does that mean I endorse his border policies? Or do I endorse giving trillions of dollars to college students to pay their debt?” He knew Trump’s authoritarianism and commitment to undermining America’s electoral system made him more dangerous than Biden. “The fact that if you want to be in the good graces of MAGA world you’ve got to say the election was stolen is extraordinary to me—but that is the test,” Romney said. Still, throwing his support behind a president whose policies he’d spent decades fighting against was a difficult thing to do. He told me he wasn’t ruling it out.
romney might not like trump, but he wont betray his party... there's still house + senate elections going on

Romney denied 2 times when asked directly if endorse Kamala -- "Asked twice if he would endorse Harris, Romney pointedly refused to say. “I’m certainly not going to be voting for former President Trump, and I think that’s been very clear,” Romney said when asked the first time whether he’d back Harris. Asked again about supporting Harris, Romney said: “I don’t have anything on that at this stage.”
Good morning. Romney's neocon handlers will insist upon endorsement before the US election.
Just for context: 200 ex-republican staffers signed a letter, some including staff of Mitt Romney saying they supported Kamala Harris over Trump.
why would a former repub presidential nom endorse a dem for pres
For the same reason a former repub VP would.
Mitt is the weak hand. He will endorse.
Rino mitt is such a fag thank god we are maga now and not that old bullshit
I am also happy to see the right split and not unified.

This guy put his dog on top of his car for a roadtrip. Maybe he will make the announcement in Springfield.
Romney made it very clear that he is not supporting trump. He has stated he didn’t vote for Trump in 2020.
Kamala literally just said in her greensboro rally he is endorsing her... does that count?
