This market will resolve to "Yes" if Vladimir Putin meets with Donald Trump between December 19, 2024, and June 30, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A meeting is defined as any encounter where both Putin and Trump are present and interact with each other in person. The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting.
Preparations for a meeting have been underway since early 2025, with diplomatic talks held in Saudi Arabia and mutual invitations extended, but no confirmed date or location for a face-to-face meeting has been set. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov emphasized that forecasting such a meeting is difficult due to the complex and volatile international environment

They will meet after the Nato Summit June 24-25 (Netherlands) in Istanbul (or less likely the Vatican).
The Kremlin likely wants to postpone the meeting further, but since Trump will be in Europe on June 24 / 25, he’ll insist for it to happen immediately afterward. He HATES traveling. He will not fly to Europe end of June and to some Putin Summit weeks later. He will reject later date, as it could make him appear weak. 5 weeks is also a realistic timetable to prepare such a meeting. The Russians have been asking for a meeting for some weeks.

U.S. security does not allow flight over Iran's zone. Trump can't influence this - they are responsible for his safety, not him, so they have priority in these matters.
