The railroad station will be considered captured if any part of the train station icon is shaded red on the ISW map (https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/36a7f6a6f5a9448496de641cf64bd375) by the resolution date. If the area is not shaded red by November 30, 2024, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to “No”. Once Russia captures the railroad station, any subsequent loss of control will not be considered towards the resolution of this market. I think if Pokrovsk falls, there would be a risk of encirclement in Chasiv Yar. But Pokrovsk is about 120km west of Chasiv Yar. The loss of Avdiivka is the reason Pokrovsk is in danger because theres flat ground between it and Pokrovsk. In contrast, Russian progress on the Bakhmut front since it fell has been extremely slow because of the Ukrainian control of heights, but that too is reducing.
Tbh its sad. But ukraine is loosing a huge amount of ground to the Russians. I doubt there will be much of ukraine left after winter if the Russians keep up the current momentum. I think either Trump end it next year. Or Ukraine will be history.

Chasiv Yar is one of the main Ukrainian strongholds in the Donbas, Russians have been trying to capture it since May, it is unlikely they will capture it in 2024, let alone till December
