This market will resolve to "Yes" if Zohran Mamdani makes any public statement on November 21, 2025 (ET) in which he insults, mocks, or attacks Donald Trump personally or professionally in a clearly negative manner. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". This includes calling Donald Trump weak, stupid, disloyal, a failure, using an insulting nickname, using other derogatory language, or using the negative form of a positive trait in a derogatory personal way (e.g., “Trump isn’t smart”). Negative forms used in reference to Donald Trump’s professional actions, policies, or decisions (e.g., “Trump isn’t being smart about this policy”) will not count. Policy disagreements stated without disparaging language will not count. A direct reference will qualify even if Donald Trump is not named, so long as it is reasonably clear from context that he is the subject. Any written, verbal, or recorded public statement by Zohran Mamdani qualifies.
Calling him a fa5cist is not considered 'disparage'?
Even with Trump's love bombing. It was really hard to disparage back, but Mamdani tried - raising points about genocide financed by administration and a started with fascist agenda - only to be interrupted by Trump.
Think the dispute weasels plowed into the other market about Zohran complimenting Trump.
Not disrespecting the game but I saw Car put some money on that and thought, welp, there they go. I'm on the other side of this one.
Kind of weird set of markets though. This one is clearer but it's really a totally subjective judgement. Like how do you empirically prove someone insulted somebody else. It's more the kind of thing that you know "when you see it."
That’s why I sold my no’s when it hit 97%. Too much room in this market for that other 3%.
didn't zohran kinda indirectly call trump a facist?
and acused him of spending billions on genocide, but its too weak to say
What about answering the question? Mamdani, speaking next to Trump, accused the Israeli government - backed by the current U.S. administration - of committing genocide. He also claimed that not only is this support ideological, but that billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars are being spent on genocide, even while children in New York are homeless. Trump responded to Mamdani’s harsh critique by turning his head away. On November 22, Trump shrugged off the insult and said, “It’s not that insulting - yes, I have a fascist agenda.”
Direct from the rules… Negative forms used in reference to Donald Trump’s professional actions, policies, or decisions (e.g., “Trump isn’t being smart about this policy”) will not count
Yes, it was a very indirect disparagement. But Democratic supporters can clearly see that Mamdani is not part of the establishment - he criticizes Trump with a smile while accepting nonstop endorsements.
He did call him a facist
True, wasn’t clearly negative
